The Grand Lodge of Spain condemns the attack and underlines that Freemasonry is "contrary to fundamentalism"

According to Europapress: The Grand Lodge of Spain condemned the "slaughter" registered in Norway on Friday and recalled, with the possible condition of Mason author of the attacks, "there is nothing more contrary to Freemasonry that fundamentalism in any form."

In the same statement GLE has expressed "complete solidarity" with the Norwegian people, "especially felt" with the families and friends of the victims. In addition, GLE recalled the efforts of Freemasons in the struggle against fundamentalism, with "high cost in lives and deprivation of liberty."

"If something is the essence of a Freemason, if anything unites all Freemasons, whatever our language, our ideology or our religion is tolerance towards all human beings different from us," stated the Grand Lodge of Spain, sole Grand Lodges recognized as regular in pain by the United Grand Lodge of England.
